Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Personal-Item Travel Backpack (and Better Than My North Face) I rarely write reviews, but this backpack impressed me enough that I had to. I travel internationally (long-haul flights) and needed a backpack that would: • Fit under the airplane seat without fighting me • Hold a lot without becoming bulky • Be comfortable with heavier loads • Survive real travel wear and tear This bag absolutely nails it. Fit & Shape: The clamshell design is a game changer. Unlike traditional backpacks with big front pockets, this one stays flat and rectangular, so it slides under an airplane seat easily. My previous travel backpack constantly got caught because of its bulging front pocket. This one doesn’t. Comfort: The shoulder straps are noticeably thicker and more supportive than my other bags. I’ve used a North Face Connector backpack for years, and while it’s comfortable, this Tomtoc distributes weight better when the bag is full. My shoulders already feel less strain just testing it around the house. Durability: The ripstop material feels much tougher than the standard fabric on my North Face. It feels like it’s built for travel, not just commuting. The side pockets are solid fabric (not mesh), which is important because mesh snags and tears easily over time. Water Bottle Pockets: This is one of my favorite details. The pockets are deep and reinforced, so my bottle actually stays in. On my other backpacks, bottles would fall out constantly. Finally, a travel backpack that hits every mark
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L Great fit, adjustability, and size for a 5’2” person. Excellent accessibility, pockets, handles, and slots for a travel carry-on size backpack. Durable, high quality, and luxe material and zipper pulls. Wears comfortably when stuffed on my back. Of the 4 brands and styles I’ve tried for a stylish and functional carry-on backpack, this one wins on all fronts. All those others are overpriced and overhyped in comparison.

Excellent Travel Backpack
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L I brought this Tomtoc 28L Travel Backpack (Black) on a recent trip, and it performed incredibly well. The amount of storage is impressive — it fit my clothes, laptop, camera gear, and all the daily essentials with room to spare. The materials feel very high-quality, and the zippers are smooth and sturdy. It held up perfectly through trains, flights, and long days of walking. The design is sleek and professional, which made it easy to use both for travel and casual outings. The back padding and straps were comfortable even when the bag was full. My only small complaint is that it could use a few more small pockets or organizers for tiny items like cables, keys, and receipts. Simple, large opening backpack that looks good. Great for weekend trips
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L I got the smaller 28L backpack and I love it. Lots of pockets on the outer sides including a quick phone drop, good for going through security. It has a slight frame to it which helps keep it's shape and includes a bottom floor piece to hold that shape as well. It's great for a weekend trip since you can store a laptop, tablet, and a good number of clothes. My favorite part is being able to lay it flat and open it up to everything inside vs most backpacks where you enter from a top zipper. This feels more like a suitcase in backpack form, and looks good while being pretty lightweight. I haven't used it too rigorously but I do expect it to be l hold up pretty well from what I can tell. It's also got the bottle holders on both sides which I also was specifically looking for. I really like this back and would recommend it.

The carry-on that makes TSA lines almost bearable
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L I've now traveled with this backpack several times and it earns its reputation. The 28L capacity is surprisingly spacious and it fits in overhead bins and under seats without issue. The laptop compartment lays flat for TSA screening, which genuinely saves time. Build quality feels premium — the ripstop material looks durable and the zippers are smooth. On the con side, the shoulder straps could use a little more padding for longer carry times, and there's no external water bottle pocket, which I miss on longer trips. Still, for a travel-focused bag at this price point, it's excellent.

Best travel backpack EVER! But seriously it’s good & competes with high priced bags.
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L So freaking good! This is the most affordable travel backpack that actually provides the quality material and zippers I desire without spending $100-300 for it. I HIGHLY recommend! I just used it on a trip to Italy and Iceland! It was the perfect bag to carry all of my clothing. I didn’t really pack it with much else because my original intention was to use it purely for clothing to maximize my carry-on capabilities. It also fits even super strict airlines like Iceland Air or Ryanair etc etc. I tried their sizers too when I arrived early at the airport and saw a bunch sitting in the back corner of the airport and decided it would be beneficial to test it in multiple airlines sizers than just mine. The 40L version would definitely provide more space but you’d really be risking not fitting into strict sizers. But overall, this bag has great durability and also has awesome function. If I had wanted to use it as a one bag carry I feel confident I could, especially with its awesome pocket designs and placements. But to cut this review short so I don’t ramble too much, I really think you should put some faith into Tomtoc’s products and give them a try. They are really good for their price. Thank you!

Quality in Every Way & Large Storage

Ottimo bagaglio a mano per Ryanair
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L Ho preso questo zaino da 28L per andare 4 giorni a Siviglia usandolo come bagaglio a mano con Ryanair, è leggermente superiore alle misure attuali della compagnia (40 x 30 x 20 cm) ma non l'ho riempito totalmente così da poterlo "schiacciare" un pò in caso di controlli ma sia a Malpensa che a Siviglia, nonostante il personale guardasse e fermasse zaini "sospetti", sono passato indenne :) Ho potuto portare 10 magliette, 3 pantaloncini corti, boxer e calze di ricambio, oltre al portatile da 14'' con alimentatore, powerbank, spazzolino, dentifricio, doccia schiuma e shampoo (ovviamente versioni <= 100 ml). Qualità davvero buona, le cerniere sembrano davvero resistenti ed è comodo da portare... per me approvato al 100%, se troverò scontato anche quello più grande lo acquisterò in caso di viaggi con compagnie che permettono misure di bagagli a mano maggiori :) Translate review to English

A fantastic quality bag!
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 40L I am obsessed with how good this bag is! Firstly, it is so so comfortable. The straps provide great cushioning. You can fit so much in the bag (40l). There is a lot of room allocated to the technology back zip compartment which feels a little wasted, and I would have preferred more space in the front open compartment for clothes, but it is very durable, many compartments with easy access, and very well priced. I love it! It’s been perfect for 2 nights stays on my recent travels.

Great bag at this price point
Color: Black-ripstopSize: 28L I really like this bag. It's light weight, durable, and spacious. The main compartment lacks organization, but I remedy that with pouches. The laptop compartment is well thought out and cushioned to protect your equipment. I love how spacious the front pocket is and that it's a side open zip instead of a top open zip; hand fits in there comfortably when digging for stuff. The top phone pocket is spacious and is lined to protect your device or glasses from scratches. The straps are very comfortable even when the bag is heavy. Love that there are 2 side pockets for drinks, or whatever else you want to put there, that are spacious. I wish there were a couple of slots for pens/pencils, I think there are plenty of places where they can be added that will not take away from your current space in the laptop compartment. It would also be nice if the bag had attachment points to attach smaller pouches. Overall, great bag for the price.
